Job summary

Join Our Amazing Nursery Team!

We’re looking for a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and professional team.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and education to children, ensuring they learn, play, and grow in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Every day is different — one day you might be exploring nature in the garden, and the next you’re helping children create magical stories.

If you’re passionate about childcare and want to work in a supportive, high-quality nursery, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Act as a key worker for a small group of children — observing, assessing, and recording their development in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Provide a positive role model for behaviour, treating everyone with care and respect.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, hygiene, and safety within the setting.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to create a joyful, secure, and inclusive environment.
  • Keep up to date with current childcare practices through regular training and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

  • A relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare, recognised by the Department for Education (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or BTEC).
  • A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive, caring, and creative approach to supporting children’s learning.
  • A clear DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing self-development.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Deliver exciting, hands-on learning opportunities that help children reach their developmental milestones.
  • Plan and adapt activities around children’s individual needs and next steps.
  • Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure every child feels happy, supported, and valued.

What’s In It for You

  • Competitive hourly pay from £13.75 per hour
  • 60% staff discount on childcare
  • Private healthcare and company pension scheme
  • Ongoing in-house training and career progression opportunities
  • Supportive management team and excellent facilities
  • Referral programme and staff recognition awards
  • Free on-site parking

Why Join Us
