Salary: £13.71 per hour
A well-established, community-focused Early Years setting in Greenwich, South East London is seeking an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join their established and supportive team.
This role is ideal for a confident, values-driven practitioner who enjoys leading by example, supporting colleagues and delivering high-quality, child-centred practice. The setting places strong emphasis on learning through play, meaningful experiences and warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
About the Role
- 37 hours per week, worked across 4 days
- Shift pattern between 7:45am – 6:00pm
- Act as a role model for high-quality Early Years practice
- Support the day-to-day running of the room
- Mentor and support less experienced practitioners
- Contribute to planning, observations and personalised learning
- Work closely with room leaders and management to maintain high standards

What They’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Experience in a senior or room-based leadership role (or readiness to step up)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS
- Confidence mentoring and supporting team members
- Calm, nurturing and professional approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and best practice
