**Childcare Manager**

Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week, shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm)

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

We’re seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Childcare Manager to lead our GOOD-rated nursery. You’ll oversee daily operations, support a dedicated team, and ensure the highest standards of care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding childcare.

* Ensure compliance with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), safeguarding, and health & safety standards.

* Manage recruitment, training, and performance across the nursery team.

* Oversee admissions, administration, and fee collection processes.

* Build strong relationships with parents and external partners.

Requirements:

* Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification.

* 2+ years’ management experience in an early years setting.

* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

* Confident with IT and administrative systems.

Core training is provided through extensive CPD opportunities it would be desirable to have prior knowledge in Safeguarding Level 1 and 2, Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Food Safety.

All applicants are required to undertake an Enhanced Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of this application will be funded by Tiny Toez, All applicants are required to subscribe to the DBS Update Service and maintain the annual fee of £15.00.

It is an offence under section 76, Childcare Act 2006 to knowingly employ a Disqualified person within a childcare setting. Declarations are in place within the setting to ensure Safeguarding is paramount.
