Role Essentials
- To assist the manager in managing the provision of the nursery ensuring that children, parents and the staff team work together effectively to provide high quality care and education.
- To assume overall responsibility for raising the quality of early years provision, including physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for children in the setting
- To promote excellent practice at all times
- To lead practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- To support and mentor other practitioners in the skills and behaviours that safeguard and promote outstanding outcomes for children.
- To act up as Third in Charge in the absence of both the Deputy and Nursery Manager.
