Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Care Practitioner to
join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
early childhood education and experience working with children. This
role involves providing high-quality care and support to children in a
nursery setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
The Care Practitioner will also play a key role in communicating
effectively with parents and managing daily activities within the nursery.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education principles.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive environment.
- Manage daily routines within the nursery, including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment that is conducive to learning and exploration.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that encourages children's social skills and emotional growth.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational programmes and overall operations.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- A background in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's development.
