Early Years Practitioner/Team Leader - Level 2/3

Job summary

KLTs are looking for either a level 2 or level 3 qualified candidate in early years. Multiple positions and immediate start are available. There is also the potential to be team leader, if the applicant hold the correct level of qualifications and experience.

Hours are 40 hours over a 4 day period, with a day off in the week.

You need to have a good imagination (If a child wants you to talk to a dinosaur - you talk to the dinosaur) If a shoe is passed to you as a phone, your best phone manner is used!

Most importantly, you must have a warm smiley face that makes every child feel special.

The ideal candidate will be able...:

• To provide high quality, enjoyable, caring and stimulating childcare, with the aim to get the best out of the children by unlocking their potentials. The care provided will support and meet the children’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual, developmental and individual needs in a non-sexist and non-racist manner.
• To work alongside the management team to ensure that the philosophy behind the setting is fulfilled.
• Enjoys working alongside a fun filled team
• To give support to all other personnel within the setting.
• To assist with the daily implementation of the settings routines and procedures.
• Adhere to the settings Policies & Procedures, Ofsted guidelines, EYFS requirements, ECM’s, Children Act and Health and Safety laws & legislation.
