About Us:
Early Steps Daycare is a small, family-run nursery based in Tower Hamlets, caring for children aged 9 months – 5 years. We’re passionate about providing a warm, inclusive, play-based environment where every child can thrive and where staff feel genuinely valued and supported.

About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced, qualified Deputy Manager to work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained across the setting.

You’ll:

• Support and guide practitioners across all rooms.

• Lead by example with excellent EYFS practice.

• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.

• Build strong relationships with parents and the wider team.

• Confidently take charge in the manager’s absence.

Essential Requirements:
? Level 3 Early Years Educator (or above).
? Sound understanding of the EYFS & safeguarding.
? Strong leadership and communication skills.
? At least 2 years’ nursery or preschool experience.
? Reliable, organised, and genuinely passionate about early years education.

Desirable:
SEN experience or DSL training.
Experience supporting disadvantaged or bilingual families.
