Founded by a former primary school teacher and a passionate social care worker, Early Steps is a day care Nursery, (currently for children from 9 months to 5 years), located within close proximity to Whitechapel and Liverpool Street station. The setting enjoys a lush and vibrant surrounding, such as Spitalfields Market, Bricklane and Whitechapel Market, to name but a few.
Early Steps is situated on a ground-floor flat, and is a bright and welcoming environment for development and learning. The day care nursery radiates with bright and spacious rooms that are specifically designed to cater to different age groups.
Early Steps has ensured that each room is well-equipped and has an array of age-appropriate toys, books and learning materials, fostering creativity, imagination and cognitive development. They are dedicated to the holistic development of children as well as their academic developments.
Early Steps understands that each child is unique and therefore will have individual needs, they offer various activities better suited to all individual needs, including quiet reading corners, messy play zones and role-play areas, allowing children the opportunities to explore and engage in different experiences.
There are two outdoor play areas (with a mud kitchen in the rear open space) offering space for children to enjoy physical activities, develop gross motor skills and appreciate nature.
The (growing) friendly staff team are well qualified and experienced to help provide children with a wide range of activities, all planned so that the individual needs of each child are met. They believe in exploring the great outdoors and partake in many outdoor trips to enable children a better sense of the world around them and to benefit from all the surrounding vibrancy Tower Hamlets has to offer.

She enjoys going in and playing with her friends and has built a special bond with her key workers. The manager has been fantastic his teaching background really shines throughout the set up of the nursery. He has supported us as a family and our work patterns. My daughter thoroughly enjoys nursery, the team work hard and it shows!

Best thing I can say is that I am at peace every day I leave my son with the Manager and the Team. Knowing he is well looked after, fed and clothed is much appreciated. My son's development has been tenfold with the Team at Early Steps.

My daughter previously attended a different nursery that was very popular and busy. Unfortunately, they had very little time to give her the extra attention she needed compared to other kids. Early Steps Daycare, under the manager's care, has met her needs in every way. She has developed significantly since joining this nursery. The staff took the time to sit with her and teach her how to eat with her hands. This nursery also offers all the sensory play activities that my daughter loves. She will miss this nursery a lot. Since my son started nursery his speech, and vocabulary have improved so much. The staff are so loving and caring, not only do they look out for the children, but for the parents also. It's like one happy family. The best decision I made was joining him at Preschool of Early Steps Daycare.

My son started this pre-school at the age of 3, and I was very anxious to send him to school as his my first child. Took a few weeks and his already settled, the staff are amazing, if it wasn't for the staff I wouldn't have felt comfortable taking the steps that I needed to teach my child (potty training, manners, dealing with tantrums). I'm really impressed at how far my child has come, all thanks for Early Steps Day Care!

A fantastic little gem with nurturing and caring staff. My son enjoys nursery and surprises us at home with things he’s learnt. He loves coming in which as parents, means everything. The facilities are excellent and there is plenty of space and activities to keep my boy busy and happy. 10/10.
