Job summary
Jigsaws Childcare LTD is a community based nursery in the village of Church Fenton. Established 16 years ago we provide teaching and care from three month to 11 years, within 5 rooms. We are open all year and provide before and after school clubs. We have a Forest School ethos and make the most of our local rural community.
We have a position for someone who is enthusiastic and wanting to develop their early years career. You may have previous experience or just loooking to start out on this venture. We offer full training and support in all aspects of child development and outdoor learning.
The role is a minimum of 31 hours a week
Skills / Qualifications:
- Passionate about teaching and developing our youngest of children
- Patience and understanding of children's needs
- Excellent at communicating on many different levels from children to parents and other professionals
- Work well as part of a team and willing to support others
- To be aware of our need to safeguard the children in our care and undertake all training to support your knowledge of this.
- Full training will be given but you must be able to undertake a level 3 qualification which will need good knowledge of English and Maths skills
