Job summary

Kamelia Kids is recruiting a Level 3 Early Years Educator. The role involves working with the Lead Educator and team to manage the day to day running of the room and garden. Our children enjoy a purposely designed environment, including sensory rooms, separate sleep rooms and direct access to 7 different gardens and a beach hut!

Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

We are keen to develop our team members and we offer training and development if you would like to work towards becoming a room lead or a senior.

The hours will be 8-5 or 8-6 either on a full time or Part time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the lead educator and team members.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Provide individualised care and support for children with SEND.
  • Work in partnership with parents and carers, providing open communication.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children.

Requirements:

  • Level 3/4/5 early years qualification or a
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education/ Early Years Teacher/ Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Good knowledge of child development.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • A love for working with young children and having FUN!.
