As our nursery continues to grow, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support our leadership team in maintaining excellence across all areas of practice.
Key Responsibilities.

•    Leadership & Management
•    Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
•    Lead and motivate staff, fostering a positive, professional, and nurturing environment.
•    Act as the designated person in charge in the Manager’s absence.
•    Compliance & Safeguarding
•    Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, including safeguarding, SEND, and health & safety.
•    Maintain accurate records and support with Ofsted readiness and inspections.
•    Champion inclusive practice and ensure all children’s needs are met.

       Curriculum & Care
•    Oversee planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
•    Monitor children’s development and support staff in creating tailored learning journeys.
•    Build strong relationships with children and families, promoting trust and open communication.
•    Parent Partnership & Community Engagement
•    Support with parent meetings, transitions, and daily communication.
•    Represent the nursery at community events and contribute to its local impact.
•     Operational Support
•    Assist with staff rotas, recruitment, and training.
•    Help manage nursery resources, budgets, and supplier coordination.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Level 3 in Early Years Education
  • 2 years of Experience as a Senior Practitioner.
  • Knowledge of EYFS
  • Safeguarding
