The Harrow Day Nursery is a charming and welcoming setting located within the beautiful St George's Church Hall, an architechural gem nestled in Pinner View. Conveniently situated near Harrow & Wealdstone and Harrow on the Hill train stations, it is easily accessible by both car and public transport. With a Good rating from Ofsted, The Harrow Day Nursery boasts expetionally spacious rooms where children can grow, learn and play, all under the nurturing guidance of our qualified and dedicated practitioners.
We are looking for someone passionate about early years education to help us continue delivering excellent care within our Preschool Room. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 Childcare qualification and be able to commit to a full-time role, 40 hours a week with various shift patterns between 7:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

As an Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
- Follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management.
- Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
- Implement positive partnerships with parents/carers thorough handover on daily collection and encourage their involvement in the nursery.
Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience:
- Full and relevant Level 2 Childcare Qualification - Essential
- Over 1 years’ experience working in Early Years - Essential
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
- Fluent in written and spoken to English - Essential
