We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working Senior Lead Practitioner to join our nursery team based at Chestnut Nursery School -  Taverham, NR8 6HW.

Salary

The Role

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, following a shift pattern. Taverham is open between the hours of 7.15am-6pm

Requirements

The successful applicant will need to have…

  • Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS)
  • Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning
  • Experience
  • Level 3 qualified
  • Prepared to have lots of fun in the work place (and out at company events)
  • Work well within a team
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Excellent organisation skills and time-management

Key Duties

As a Senior Lead Practitioner your responsibilities are…

  • Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
  • Promoting and supporting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
  • Take necessary steps to safeguard all who access the setting, adhering to the safeguarding policy
  • Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
  • Flexible in working hours if required.
  • Support daily routines.
  • Follow policies and procedures.
  • Light cleaning duties.
  • Maintain a high level of supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
