Nursery Practitioner & Senior Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 | Worcester

Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, Worcester, WR1 3JR
Salary: Up to £13.40 per hour (Nursery Practitioner) | Up to £13.90 per hour (Senior Nursery Practitioner)
Contract Type: Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday - part time working patterns considered
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who are:

  • Level 3 qualified in Early Years (full & relevant)
  • Experienced in a children’s day nursery setting
  • Confident in delivering the EYFS and supporting children with SEND
  • Knowledgeable in safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Enthusiastic about building strong relationships with families and children
  • Committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred care

Senior Practitioner applicants should also have:

  • Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues
  • A proactive approach to leading practice and supporting inspections

Your Role

As a Nursery Practitioner or Senior Practitioner, you’ll:

  • Be a Key Person, supporting children’s learning and development
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
  • Work in partnership with parents and carers
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
  • Support Ofsted standards and contribute to inspections
  • (Senior role) Lead by example and support junior team members and the room leader
