Are you passionate about preparing nutritious, tasty meals for children? We’re looking for a caring and experienced Nursery Chef to join our friendly team!
At Next Generation Day Nursery, we believe healthy food fuels healthy minds. As our nursery chef, you'll play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of children aged 0–5 by preparing balanced meals and snacks tailored to their needs.
What You’ll Do:

Cook fresh, nutritious meals daily following the DFE meal plan guidance

Cater to a variety of dietary needs (allergies, intolerances, cultural)

Keep the kitchen spotless and compliant with food hygiene standards

Work closely with nursery staff to ensure mealtimes are safe and enjoyable
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar role (nursery, school, or care setting ideal but not essential)

Food Hygiene Level 2 or above (Level 3 a bonus!)

Knowledge of food allergies and child nutrition

A positive, can-do attitude and great time management skills
