Job summary
Pre-School Practitioner- Full-time Permanent
As a Pre-School Practitioner, you will have an essential role
in delivering our PEAG Programme in line with the NI Pre-School Curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Develop observations and planning along with individual educational plans and care plans
- Deliver the PEAG programme to a high standard, following the 6 areas of development
- Maintain open communication with parents and relevant external agencies regarding a child’s progress
- Support the Pre-School Room Leader and Manager as directed and work as part of the team
- Take responsibility for assisting with a stimulating and varied program of appropriate activities for the children
- Any other reasonable duties as required by management
Essential Criteria:
- Childcare Level 3 qualification
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to handle the physical demands of the job
- Patient with a positive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
