Job summary
We are Happy Ninos Nursery and Pre-School based in Stratford, East London, walking distance from Stratford International or Maryland stations. We are looking for someone who can manage the nursery alongside the Nursery Manager.

Qualifications and experience
Candidate must hold valid NVQ Level 3+ in early years childcare
At least 2 years experience in a nursery or other similar childcare setting
At least 1 year in role such as room leader, third in charge, deputy manager is preferable

Happy Ninos Nursery & Pre-school is a nursery in Stratford. The nursery's vision is to create a happy and encouraging space, surrounded by stimulating and educational resources, allowing the children to grow and reach their full potential and support them in their journey to school start.
Happy Ninos Nursery and Pre-school are proud of the EYFS knowledge, the special educational needs competence and the extra curricular activities that the nursery offers. Amongst others, you will find Music and Dance lessons, Spanish bilingual teaching, Cooking class, sports lessons and more to make exploring the world fun and enjoyable for all ages and needs.
Our nursery is based in between Stratford and Maryland stations which stations are served by the Elizabeth, Central, Jubilee, London Overground, DLR and other mainline train lines.
What are we looking for?
A good practical knowledge of the EYFS and to ensure the setting meets each area,
To support to create and to know the policies and procedures of the nursery and ensure they are being followed,
Ability to liaise with regulators such as OFSTED if needed,
A good understanding of planning, observing and assessments,
Ability and proven experience in building and leading a team in a childcare setting,
Ability to complete tasks in a time frame,
Somebody who can work well in a group as well as on their own,
Someone who can support, supervise and guide staff with day to day duties,
Someone who is able to lead and run the Nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
Somebody who understands the importance of safeguarding and whistleblowing,
Somebody who can build a strong and positive relationship with parents to ensure we are working in partnership,
Good communicator and someone who can cooperate well under pressure with Nursery Manager and Directors.
