About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 51 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 51 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 22.4 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

My little one has been going there for a year and a half and she's growing up to be such a lovely person, thanks to all the carers who make sure she's looked after very well, learns her manners and is kind. Special shoutout to all the amazing staff.

Our daughter has been at Little Willows since she was 9-months-old and she is now nearly three. She loves nursery, and we have been very happy - the nursery is a caring, friendly and fun environment and she has developed good relationships with lots of the staff. They involve the children in a wide range of activities that support their development.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! It is such a pleasure to have your daughter at our Bath nursery and a privilege to be a part of her development.
Our son spent 1 year at Little Willows from the age of 1. The baby room always felt neglected with babies often crying and with running noses and very dirty floor. At 18 months, he moved to the next level which felt "better staffed". However, the whole nursery (although very small) always felt...
Our son spent 1 year at Little Willows from the age of 1. The baby room always felt neglected with babies often crying and with running noses and very dirty floor. At 18 months, he moved to the next level which felt "better staffed". However, the whole nursery (although very small) always felt unkept, never making an effort to achieve an outstanding level. Signs broken, dirty rooms, cheap toys, grumpy staff (some) cheap options in an expensive part of town and charging a standard fee like any outstanding nursery elsewhere. Clearly not fair.

It's a shame and so disappointing to read such a negative review for Little Willows. In all our time in the industry, we've never received this type of feedback. We recently had our OFSTED inspection (March 2018) and we're delighted to retain our 'good' grading. The nursery continues to strive to enhance the environment and provision for children in our care. The nursery has a dedicated on-site chef who caters for all of the children's dietary needs, whilst ensuring all children are offered a varied menu every week. We have comprehensive systems in place to ensure that development within the nursery is consistent, for example, the investment of the Tapestry learning journals last year to enhance the nursery's partnership with parents. Our nursery fees reflect the cost of childcare in the city centre, however, they are inclusive of meals, snacks, milk, nappies, wipes and sun creams. We have rigid procedures in place to ensure that every playroom meets the adult: children ratio every session, with the addition of lunchtime staff.
