Play is at the heart of the nursery's approach. Age-appropriate Baby, Toddler and Pre-School Rooms provide engaging environments where children can investigate, experiment, create and learn through hands-on experiences. Children enjoy a balance of child-led and supported activities, with learning taking place indoors and outdoors each day.
Physical development is encouraged through outdoor play and equipment including scooters, bikes and climbing frames. Professional sports activity coordinators also visit each setting twice a week, providing additional opportunities for exercise, movement and confidence building.
Each child has a designated Key Person who provides continuity, security, and emotional support. Practitioners help children develop communication, independence, and positive relationships while supporting emotional understanding and self-management.
Fenwood Nursery promotes inclusion, equality and respect for every child and family. Dedicated SEND Leads coordinate support for children with additional needs, with individual adaptations and enhanced staffing where appropriate.
Healthy eating and positive hygiene habits are part of daily life, with freshly prepared nutritious meals, water and milk provided. Fenwood Nursery was awarded the Healthy Foundations Gold Award in 2021.

The nursery is fantastic. The staff are exceptional. They are so good with the children (and parents). . My son started in April and I was a bag of emotion. They helped him settle, which he did really quickly. And he's loved it ever since.

The nursery is fantastic. The staff are exceptional. They are so good with the children (and parents). . My son started in April and I was a bag of emotion. They helped him settle, which he did really quickly. And he's loved it ever since. The communication is great and the updates you get on the app are fab. There seems to be so much for them to do. Learn, play and eat. In know my son has come on leaps and bounds due to the staff there.
I am so happy I chose this nursery for him.

We have been attending Fenwood for over 6 months now. The management team and all the staff (not just the room we're in) are so friendly towards us, encouraging to little one and chatty. Our little one has gone from being a screaming potato to a chatty little ball of energy that doesn't stop talking, and is coming along leaps and bounds in her development. I love to see the observations made on her so that we can encourage similar things at home.

We have been extremely happy with our child's experience at this nursery. The facilities and outdoor space are great, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and play. The quality of learning, care, activities, and safeguarding are all outstanding, and the staff are fantastic, always friendly, caring, and supportive.
Our child absolutely loves going to nursery and has settled in so well that they barely say goodbye to us anymore, which is a real testament to how happy, comfortable, and secure she feels there. The nursery is well-managed, giving us complete confidence that our child is in great hands.
Overall, we would highly recommend this nursery to other parents looking for a nurturing, stimulating, and well-run setting for their child.

I honestly cannot recommend this nursery enough! Every member of staff is so friendly, welcoming and caring, and you can genuinely see how much they care about the children.
My daughter's key worker, Nicole, is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond for my daughter, works closely with me to make sure her individual needs are met, and is always so lovely at drop-offs and pick-ups.
Sabrina and Libby are also fantastic managers. They are always approachable and happy to help, and whenever I've had questions, concerns or wanted to change something, they have been so supportive and willing to work with me.
I always feel listened to and valued as a parent, and most importantly, I know my daughter is happy, cared for and understood. The whole team genuinely goes above and beyond, and I'm so grateful for everything they do.
