Twinkle Stars Montessori Nursery St Albans is an accredited Montessori setting with more than 15 years of experience, dedicated to giving children a secure, caring, and stimulating start in their early years.
The nursery follows Montessori principles alongside the EYFS framework, giving children the freedom and encouragement to discover, investigate and develop at their own pace. Environments are thoughtfully prepared to meet children's changing needs, from babies developing sensory awareness and physical skills to older children building independence, confidence and essential early learning skills. Children are supported to make choices, complete tasks and approach new challenges positively, recognising mistakes as an important part of the learning journey.
Respect for every child is central to the nursery's approach. Twinkle Stars promotes an inclusive culture founded on equality, fairness, diversity, tolerance and opportunity, ensuring each child is recognised and supported as an individual. A Key Person provides continuity of care and plays an important role in supporting each child's wellbeing and development.
The experienced team consists of skilled and qualified childcare professionals who are DBS checked and trained in child protection and paediatric first aid. Regular CPD, appraisals and reviews help staff maintain their knowledge and continually develop their practice.
Flexible childcare is available throughout the year or during term time, with morning, afternoon and full-day sessions, plus breakfast and after-school clubs. Children can benefit from additional activities including French, computing, drama, yoga, ballet and gymnastics.
Twinkle Stars Montessori Nursery St Albans works in partnership with families and places children's happiness, wellbeing, independence, and enthusiasm for learning at the centre of nursery life.

Our experience has been excellent. The nursery is well managed and the app is extremely useful for checking to check our daughter is having a good day. She absolutely loves the staff at the nursery and is always talking fondly about them in evenings and at weekends. She has made friends and looks forward with excitment to coming each day. The staff have been very helpful in administering medications and she is well cared for. She loves the days out to the park and cathedral etc. The food is varied and nutritious and our daughter always seems to eat all of it! The staff making a special effort to come in at weekends for summer fair and christmas performance is very much appreciated. Overall, we (and our daughter) are very happy here and will be sending our second child here too.
