Rachael's Rascals Childcare

I've had three children attend this nursery. First starting in November 2020 and we love them to the point of house moves needing to be around the nursery because we don't want them anywhere else. When they say second to mum or home from home, they're not kidding. Even when my eldest gets things like awards at school, Rachael and her staff are top of his list of who he wants to brag to, my middle runs along happily chanting about how he wants to see certain staff members and Rachael's care doesn't stop at the kids, she's excellent for a natter and a rant at pick up/drop off.

The nursery is lovely, the price is arguably cheaper than it should be, and the bonds they build with the kids are second to none.

I couldn't recommend more and am forever grateful to the lovely ladies at Rachael's Rascals for the roles they've played in raising my three children for the last almost six years.

I honestly cannot recommend Rachael's Rascals Nursery enough. My daughter started here when she was 2 years old, 5 years ago, and now my son started at just 5 months old and still attends now - he absolutely loves it.

Trusting someone with your children is one of the biggest things a parent can do, and I trust Rachael with all my heart. Every single time I've seen her, she is calm, caring, patient and genuinely happy around the children. She creates such a loving and safe environment and it really shows in how comfortable and excited the children are to attend.

The other staff including Kirsty, Ashleigh and the rest of the team are always so lovely, welcoming and supportive too. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they all truly care about the children like their own.

Both of my children have grown in confidence so much during their time there and I'm so grateful for everything the nursery has done for our family. Such an amazing nursery with the most wonderful staff - 5 stars just

Rachael's prices are very reasonable, with no hidden extras, and all the admin has always been really straightforward. The flexibility of the offering has been fantastic too, with them able to have our son for the exact hours we wanted over the week.

I love the artwork my children bring home and hearing about their day with all their friends at nursery.

My little boy has been coming to Rachael's rascals for over a year now. He enjoys attending and has made lots of little friends. All the staff are lovely and are always there to help with any questions or queries you have. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds since he started in January 2025 and I can't thank Rachael enough for that. Rachael is so accommodating if I have meetings and need to change times and days on the odd occasion too. Which I'm forever grateful for.

It's such a lovely feeling knowing your child is being looked after by people who genuinely care. The activities are brilliant, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always go above and beyond. We're so grateful for everything they do and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

Absolutely fantastic nursery! My daughter loves going, and usually doesn't want to leave. The staff are all excellent, brilliant with my daughter. It's well equipped with different areas to play, there's always plenty of activities for my daughter to take part in. Couldn't recommend it enough.

From the moment my little girl started this nursery she has loved every minute of it. The staff are amazing with her and it has a lovely homely feel. She is excited to go into nursery and it's hard to get her to leave. I wouldn't have her anywhere else. The nursery itself is very clean and tidy and there is so much for her to do and keep busy. The garden is big and spacious and the kids love being out there. I feel like I'm leaving her with family and I know she is safe there. We have all the information we need regarding food and nutrition and safeguarding etc, if there was anything we needed to know that we don't know, we just need to ask and the staff are so friendly they will help you with anything. The app is updated regularly and we can see what the kids are up to through the observations and photos. It's an amazing nursery and an amazing bunch of staff!

My daughter has come on significantly since attending Rachael's Rascals. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about Early Years provision and have a wonderful relationship with my daughter. She is always happy to attend and you can see how comfortable she is in the nursery. They have also held events where parents can attend which have been great fun!

My daughter is 2 and a half and has been at the nursery since she was 10 months. She likes going and has made friends there. She enjoys playing outdoors and getting creative with the paint and the play doh. The food is home made and is included as are consumables. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is a bother and have helped my daughter with her speech and toilet training.

Both my daughter and now son have and still do attend Rachael's Rascals. A brilliant nursery with amazing staff who have so much care for the children, they both have loved attending the nursery and both have came on leaps and bounds, I feel very happy leaving them with the fantastic staff and in very safe hands. A lovely nursery and setting, a place I've used for 7 years and I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter has been with Rachael and her team for around 3 years. Hands down the best nursery in our area. Rachael and her team have helped my daughter blossom in all aspects. The nursery keeps me informed of everything they do with my daughter, they have helped and gave us guidance from potty training to helping her talk and write. I think without her and her team, as parents we would be really lost without her.
