My name is Jo, and I am proud to be the Manager of Westfield House Childcare. I joined Westfield House in 2017 as a practitioner and quickly stepped into the role of Manager.
As a qualified primary school teacher specialising in Early Years education, I spent six years teaching in a primary school setting, including Nursery and Reception. Throughout my career, I have been driven by a genuine passion for giving young children the very best start in life.
I believe the Early Years are a crucial time for building secure foundations for learning, nurturing curiosity, and developing confidence. Supporting children as they grow in independence, discover their strengths, and flourish both academically and emotionally is what inspires me every day. It is a privilege to play a part in helping each child reach their full potential in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
My name is Emma. I am the Deputy Manager at Westfield House and I joined the nursery in 2013. Alongside my role as Deputy Manager, I am also the Room Leader of our baby room, Hedgehogs.
My passion for Early Years began when I was young, inspired by watching my mum work in the sector. From then on, I always knew this was the path I wanted to follow. I love supporting both children, parents and colleagues, and being part of the nursery’s continued growth and development.
As Baby Room Leader, I feel incredibly lucky to witness those very first milestones — from first smiles and steps to growing confidence and curiosity. Watching the children flourish and progress through the nursery over the years is such a rewarding part of my role.
