About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of 2 to 3 year olds can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week, and some families on qualifying benefits can claim 15 hours regardless of working status. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 49 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 49 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 23.3 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

It has been lovely to see my son's confidence develop and watch him build friendships and enjoy a wide range of activities each day. He is always excited to tell us about what he has been doing, which speaks volumes about how much he enjoys his time there.
The communication from the nursery is excellent, and we really appreciate being kept up to date with his progress and experiences. Knowing that he is happy, safe, and well cared for gives us great peace of mind.
Thank you to the entire team for all of your hard work, dedication, and kindness. We are grateful to be part of such a wonderful nursery and look forward to continuing his journey with you.

I started volunteering at the pre-school 17 years ago and stayed... I enjoyed it so much I decided to complete my early years qualifications! I have since completed additional training in SEN and WellComm (speech and language). I love the routine and structure each day, supporting our children to develop through a variety of activities. We enjoy tailoring our activities around our children's current interests; being child-led empowers them and helps to develop a love for learning. Working with children never fails to bring a smile to my face, and the relationships we build with the children and their parents are incredibly rewarding.

With over 30 years of experience in early years education, I am a passionate and dedicated childcare professional committed to giving children the best start in life. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with children, staff, and parents, building strong and positive relationships to create a nurturing and inclusive environment. I have a particular strength in supporting children with additional health needs, having been trained in childhood diabetes and providing hands-on support for children with diabetes for over 10 years. My ability to manage time effectively, stay calm under pressure, and think creatively helps me deliver engaging learning opportunities while maintaining high standards of care and safety.

I've spent over 20 years working in preschool education, and nothing brings me more joy than helping little ones grow, explore, and discover the world around them. I love creating fun, hands-on activities - whether it's art, music, or outdoor play - that spark curiosity and confidence. Building close connections with children and their families is what makes this work so special to me.

Having worked in post-16 education, SEN and Safeguarding for 12 years, I am passionate about providing a service that meets the needs of all children. The formative first 5 years of a child's life are extremely valuable and have proven correlation to future outcomes in education, employment, society, health and wellbeing; and I believe we are privileged to support children through their early years foundation stage, and help shape their future
