Puddleducks Children's Day Nursery Pickering

Lindsey is a qualified and experienced primary teacher, specialising in early years. She has loved working with children from all walks of life. Children’s earliest experience of education and learning is key to their development, and having struggled to find a local nursery that she trusted with her own child, Lindsey invests time and effort into creating an environment for children to flourish in.

Lindsey is a creative soul at heart, and when you don’t find her at the nursery, you’ll usually find her working on a messy project or with her head under a sewing machine. Lindsey also has a costume degree, and after spending some time working on a few Disney films, she still cannot be away from her machine for too long! She is lucky enough to be blessed with a wonderful little boy that LOVES to read. She enjoys a Gruffalo hunt in the woods, followed by hot chocolate and plenty of biscuits!

Another very long-standing and highly valued member of our team, Sarah, joined our Sheriff Hutton team in 2016, where she quickly progressed to room leadership. On opening, she moved to our Malton nursery in 2022 and, most recently, has been promoted to deputy manager at our Pickering nursery. What Sarah doesn’t know about Puddleducks isn’t worth knowing! She plays a crucial role in our nursery alongside Lindsey.

Charlotte has worked at Puddleducks since 2020. On opening, she located to our Pickering nursery and oversees the running of our largest baby room, ensuring that the team of professionals working alongside her provide the very best care and earliest education for our babies. Charlotte also supports Lindsey and Sarah with the wider running of the nursery.
