Blooming Kids provides an inspiring, nurturing early years environment for children aged three to five, supporting them as they become increasingly confident, curious, and independent learners. Located in Andover town centre, their thoughtfully prepared setting gives children the freedom to explore, make choices, develop their own ideas and build positive relationships with those around them.
The nursery offers high-quality, child-led early education, including government-funded hours for eligible children. Inspired by the Curiosity Approach, their environment features natural materials, authentic resources and open-ended opportunities that invite children to investigate, create, problem-solve and use their imagination.
Blooming Kids have experienced practitioners who use responsive, in-the-moment practice to build upon children's interests, ideas and fascinations. Rather than placing unnecessary limits on learning, practitioners recognise meaningful opportunities as they happen, introducing new language, ideas, challenges and experiences that help children deepen their thinking and develop new skills through purposeful play.
Positive relationships remain at the heart of their approach. As children grow in confidence, they encourage them to express their thoughts and feelings, make decisions, take appropriate risks, develop friendships and become increasingly independent. Practitioners provide the guidance and reassurance children need while giving them the space and encouragement to discover what they are capable of.
The 3–5 environment provides a rich and engaging foundation for the next stage of each child's journey. Through play, exploration and meaningful experiences, children develop their communication, confidence, creativity, resilience and love of learning - supporting the skills and dispositions that will help them thrive as they move towards school and beyond.

About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Every family can claim 15 universal funded hours a week for 3 to 4 year olds, and working parents can usually claim up to 30 funded hours. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 51 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 51 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 22.4 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

I’m the friendly face and voice at the heart of our nursery, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes as the backbone of our daily operations. As a mum to a little girl myself, I know firsthand how important it is to feel confident, supported, and reassured when choosing childcare.
From guiding you through your very first enquiry and helping your child settle in, to taking the stress out of funding claims, I’m here to make your family’s journey as seamless as possible. I love stepping in wherever I’m needed to support our team and ensure our nursery is a warm, organised home away from home for your little ones.

Hi, I’m Dolly, and I’m so excited to have joined the team at Blooming Kids Nursery!
I’m a qualified teacher with 6 years of experience working across EYFS and KS1, with EYFS always being my favourite.I love music, outdoor adventures, messy play and getting creative with the children - whether that’s making mud pies and magical potions in the mud kitchen, or bringing stories to life through role play, like going on our very own We’re Going on a Bear Hunt adventure!
I aim to make sure every child feels happy, safe and cared for, while having lots of fun, exploring, playing and learning.I can’t wait to get to know your children, support their individual goals and make lots of wonderful memories together!

Hello, my name is Charly,I'm a mum of 2 children aged 17 and 12.
I currently have an NVQ Level 2 in childcare, which I gained 24 years ago! I have also finally just started my Level 3 in 2026.
One thing I love about Blooming Kids is how welcoming my colleagues made me feel when I first started.
When not at work, you will usually find me spending time with family and friends and going for walks with my children. In the evenings, I like to relax by either reading a good book or sitting down at the table doing my diamond art.

I’m a Level 2 qualified practitioner, and I work in the preschool room at Blooming Kids.

Hi, I’m Rebecca, but most people call me Becca!I’m a Level 2 qualified practitioner, and I work in the preschool room at Blooming Kids.
I love coming to work and seeing all of the little smiles that greet me when I walk through the door!
I studied childcare in college and loved it so much that I started working here almost a year ago. I love doing arts and crafts with the children, so you’ll often be going home with a stack of paper and crafts at the end of the week!

I really enjoy preparing healthy,...
I have been part of the nursery team for around three years and absolutely love my role as a nursery cook.I really enjoy preparing healthy, delicious meals for the children and seeing them enjoy the food I make. One of my favourite parts of working at the nursery is watching the children grow, learn and develop their own little personalities along the way.
Outside of work, my partner and my daughters are my world, and I love spending time together as a family. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, cooking and watching live music.
I’m originally from South Africa, but I’m very happy to call the UK home!
