Willow Park is a beautifully designed nursery in Mickleover, caring for children from birth to five years. Light-filled rooms, soft tones, natural materials and high-quality wooden resources create a calm, welcoming environment that feels more like a home than a nursery.
Inspired by the Scandinavian concept of Hygge, Willow Park has been designed around what matters most in the early years: secure relationships, emotional wellbeing, and a strong sense of comfort and belonging. The caring team nurtures children, providing support to help each child gain the confidence to settle, become independent, and discover the world through play.
Each age group has its own beautifully considered space, from the dedicated baby room with a separate sleep room, through to the toddler and preschool rooms. A separate dining room sits at the heart of the nursery, creating a lovely space for children to come together and enjoy meal times.
Children have a large garden to explore, while babies have their own separate outdoor space. From climbing and physical play to discovering nature and enjoying fresh air, the outdoors is an important part of everyday life at Willow Park.
With CCTV throughout, on-site parking, and a carefully considered environment, Willow Park offers families a modern nursery with a distinct homely feel.
The nursery is open 51 weeks a year, closing for bank holidays and Christmas to New Year's.

About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 51 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 51 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 22.4 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

The staff use an app that allows us to keep track of our daughter's day, including her naps, meals and nappy changes, as well as message the team.
