Dollis serve the community of Mill Hill, in the North London borough of Barnet; it is a state pre-school, nursery and primary school, welcoming children from 2-11 years old, from all backgrounds.

At Dollis, the experienced staff team believes that children learn best when they are happy and excited by what’s happening in their space. Their aim is to instil a love of learning in pupils and provide a solid foundation to build on, in the transition to primary education and beyond.

Experts report that the transition from nursery to primary school is a pivotal milestone in the lives of young children, and research emphasises the impact on academic achievement, cognitive development and wellbeing. This is largely due to the continuity of the environment, relationships, and the curriculum which links in, and is integral part of, the school curriculum. Funding & Fees

•   Morning session: nursery opens at 8:30am and finish at 11:30am
•   Afternoon session: nursery opens at 12:30pm and finish at 3:30pm
•   30 hours / full time: nursery opens at 8:30am and finish at 3:30pm
For parents who are not eligible for the 30 hour free government funding, there is a charge of £25 per day for nursery parents and £20 for pre-nursery parents, for the afternoon session.
We also offer breakfast and after school clubs to support working parents.

We offer free hours of educational in line with the government's funding:
- 15 hours of free education for 2 years old
- up to 30 hours of free education for 3-4 years old
