Teddy Wilf’s @ Shopwyke is open Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 5:30pm, 50 weeks per year. We close for two full weeks at Christmas, plus all Bank Holidays and 5 Continuing Professional Development Days per the year. You will not be charged for these closure days and we will not claim any Funded Entitlement on these days.

We do not offer Term Time Only places at Teddy Wilf's @ Shopwyke so children attend throughout the school holidays. This means children become settled in a consistent routine and do not have large breaks in their nursery attendance and it also avoids the unsettled periods following the school holidays. Full Nursery fees are payable at all times to maintain a child’s place. However, families will be permitted two weeks (of their normal attendance) as holidays each academic year, during which they will receive a 50% discount on their fees.

If families are in receipt of 15 hour funding: Instead of claiming 15 hours per week over 38 weeks, families will be able to access 12 hours per week over 48 weeks.

If families are in receipt of 30 hour funding: Instead of claiming 30 hours per week over 38 weeks, families will be able to access 24 hours per week over 48 weeks.

Children are required to bring a packed lunch if they are in Nursery between 12:00pm and 1:00pm

Voluntary Consumables Charge - This charge helps us to cover the costs of your children’s breakfast, snacks, nappies, wipes and sun cream whilst they are at Teddy Wilf’s, which West Sussex have made clear are not covered by the Early Years Entitlement Funding. The Voluntary Consumables Charge will be automatically added to your invoice and will equate to £2.50 per session (AM and PM). In return we will provide all nappies, wipes, sun cream, a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack for children at Teddy Wilf’s Nurseries.

If you would prefer not to pay the additional £2.50 per session, then families will be welcome to provide the items listed above at no additional charge.
