Overall Experience

My son joined St Augustine's nursery in September 2025 at the age of 2. I was worried at first as to how he would take to a school nursery environment at this young age, but I can honestly say from the first few minutes of dropping him off on his first day I knew that he would thrive there. The staff were so gentle, kind and attentive. They were confident and reassuring to me, and since that first day my son has run into the nursery every day and not looked back. He has become so much more confident himself and articulate. He has learnt so much in less than a year and been exposed to so many different experiences such as the farm at the school, PE lessons which he adores, and has already started writing his name. My son has made a wonderful group of friends and thanks to the close knit community he has been invited to so many out of school events by his new friends it has been so lovely to see him become more independent, and so nice for our family to meet other local families.

Overall Experience
It has been an absolute pleasure to have my daughter in the Nursery at St. Augustine's Priory. Since we moved from Japan in 2024, my daughter struggled with the language barrier; however, the teachers' attentive support has been truly life-changing. They took such great care of her that she now looks forward to going to school every single day.
I am deeply impressed by the balanced curriculum. Introducing phonics and mathematics at an early stage, combined with a variety of engaging materials and events, has ignited a genuine curiosity in her. She loves sharing what she learns, which is a testament to the teachers' excellent guidance.

Furthermore, the integration with older year groups has been wonderful. These interactions have made her feel part of the school community, and she is now genuinely excited to transition to Reception. I am immensely grateful to the Nursery for providing such a safe, nurturing environment. I highly recommend this school to any parent.

Both of my daughters attended the SA Nursery and I couldn't recommend it more. My daughters are both very different and their needs were met and our expectations exceeded with both girls. The staff are incredible, dedicated, caring and committed. I am also the deputy head of a Primary school so understand education, with high expectations of my own. I cannot recommend it more, they were so lucky to have had such a wonderful start to school life.

Overall Experience

My daughter attended St Augustine's Nursery from Jan 2021- July 2022 and thrived in their supportive environment. I wanted her first school experience to be a very positive one to help develop a love for learning and the wonderful teachers at the nursery definitely achieved this. I did not then hesitate to send my son to the nursery when he was 3 years old. Having been with St Augustine's for 18 months he has grown in confidence and has started reception with all the skills needed for a strong start at his new school. I look forward to returning again with my youngest daughter next year!

Overall Experience
Our son attended St Augustine's Priory Nursery over an 18-month period ending in July 2024. We would wholeheartedly recommend this excellent nursery. It benefits from being part of the wider school campus and all the facilities the school possesses, so the children can enjoy the farm, the play areas and all the space that St Augustine's Priory has to offer.

The teachers are excellent and the atmosphere is kind, nurturing and encouraging. Our son thrived here and seeing the kids perform the Nativity was one of the highlights of our year.

Overall Experience
Our twin boys attended the nursery at St Augustine's between May 2023 and August 2024. We were incredibly happy with our experience there. The staff were caring, dedicated and skilled and gave our boys a lot of personal attention. The boys very quickly created a close bond with one of the teachers and this helped them settle in with (relative) ease. The outside space is lovely, and the boys often visited the on-site farm.

Of course, it is a little more on the expensive side, however, we found that it was better value for money than other local nurseries, especially as the hours offered were much more convenient than the usual 9-12 half days on offer. We went for the 8:30-1 pm option for most days, which was perfect as the boys would come home after lunch to nap. As they got older they were in until 3.30 on some days, with the option of a great after-school care provision whenever we needed it.
