Kids Planet Somers House

This nursery is special. Our boys have been there for 4 years and in that time I can't recall a single negative experience. All staff are personable and put children first - from smiling cleaners and maintenance staff up to brilliant chefs, staff and management. It has a lovely warm culture with babies really cuddled and cared for in the bunnies room but with that care carrying on as they grow up. The facilities are great and everything runs well - but it is this kind caring culture which makes it stand out.

All of the staff at Somers House show a real genuine interest in how the children learn and grow, encouraging their personalities to come out and really celebrating their wins. They provide such a calm, nurturing environment. My two are both so happy to go in and have fun which speaks to the environment that the staff clearly foster. The sandpit room is amazing. The garden area, whilst perhaps smaller compared to other settings, has lots of fantastic resources, mud kitchen, the bunny rabbits, and they grow strawberries! They really make the most of it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Somers House, it has been fantastic for both of our little ones.

Our son has attended this nursery for the past two and a half years, and we couldn't be happier with the care he has received. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly kind, nurturing, and supportive, creating a safe and happy environment where he has truly flourished. The progress he has made during his time here has been amazing to see, both in his confidence and development. It's clear that the team genuinely care about every child and go above and beyond to make each day fun, engaging, and educational. Communication with parents has always been excellent, and we've always felt reassured knowing he was in such capable hands. We are so grateful to everyone at the nursery for the love, patience, and dedication they have shown our son over the past two years. We would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any family looking for a caring, professional, and welcoming place for their child. We are going to miss the team so much and are so grateful for everything xx

The staff are gentle and kind and the activities are great. It is a town nursery so the outside space is on the smaller side but they Vera much make the most of this. We're very confident they are helping to set her up well for reception.
