Zetland Nursery is a welcoming, close-knit nursery in the heart of Grangemouth, providing a nurturing environment for children from their earliest years through to pre-school age. Open since 2012, the nursery has built a strong local presence. It offers a smaller, more personal setting where children can feel known, supported and comfortable rather than lost in a large environment.
The nursery includes two baby rooms, a larger room for children aged 2–5, and designated outdoor play areas for each. Each space supports children at different stages of development through age-appropriate play, learning, and everyday routines. At the same time, the recently improved 2- 5 garden provides additional opportunities for outdoor exploration and play.
As the only private nursery in Grangemouth working in partnership with the local council, Zetland combines the flexibility of a private nursery with access to council-funded childcare places. With opening hours from 7.30 am to 6 pm, the nursery also offers families greater flexibility around work and family life.
Key workers build close relationships with children and families, provide regular updates, and keep parents involved in each child's nursery experience. Children also have opportunities to explore the local area, including visits to the nearby library, park, and other community facilities.

This nursery offers great activities for children. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and my child really loves them.
I also really appreciate the daily communication. The nursery shares photos throughout the day, so I can see what my child is doing and how he is feeling. They also provide regular updates about what he has eaten and when his nappy has been changed, which gives me peace of mind and helps me stay informed.

I really like the staff, the girls are very attentive and polite.

My daughter absolutely loves her nursery and looks forward to going every day. The staff are so kind, patient, and caring, and they've created such a welcoming, nurturing environment that makes her feel safe and happy. She's grown so much in confidence since starting, and it's lovely to see how excited she is to talk about what she's done during the day. The activities are engaging and fun, and it's clear how much thought and effort goes into supporting each child's development. As a parent, it gives me real peace of mind knowing she's somewhere she feels comfortable, valued, and genuinely enjoys being. I couldn't be happier with the care she receives.

All staff are amazing with my daughter. She has been attending for almost a year and has come on so much. I would definitely recommend this nursery, can't fault anything at all.
The variety of meals is also fantastic and encourages my daughter to try new foods she might not try at home.
