Cherubs Ilkeston

Cherubs have been wonderful for our little boy. He started at 11 months and at the time, he really struggled to be away from his mum or dad so we were anxious about how he would manage at nursery. However, since starting he has absolutely thrived. He has gained so much confidence and he has the best time. We really appreciate the regular updates through the day and staff always give a great handover. We do really feel that his keyworker & staff genuinely know him and enjoy him being at nursery. We can't thank you enough for helping him settle!

Cherubs have been fantastic with my son who has ASD and extra needs. Including making relevant adjustments to ensure he is feeling safe and happy at nursery. The nursery is always clean and tidy, the children all seem settled and happy but the best part is the staff they are always happy, bubbly and go the extra mile everyday. They genuinely care about my child and it shows!

Since my son has joined Cherubs, his development has come on leaps and bounds. Everyday is a new experience to him, and his learning of the world around him in which the nursery provides is invaluable. We believe as parents that the daisies room has been pivotal towards this. The staff in daisies have always been very supportive and we always feel comfortable as parents with leaving our son with them for the day. The management at Cherubs is also very good and is always there if we have any questions and always makes us feel very welcomed,happy and at ease.

Our little boy has been with Cherubs Ilkeston since late 2024 and it's truly amazing the see the progress he has made under the amazing care of the Cherubs team. They are all super friendly and caring and whenever we have a handover they are always chatting a keeping us updated with how our boy is doing. You can tell he loves his time at nursery and wouldn't couldn't be happier with him being there!

As a new parent in Ilkeston, I was naturally quite nervous about sending my first child to nursery. However, this place has truly been an answered prayer. The staff have been nothing but amazing, and my child absolutely loves it there. It's made the whole experience so much easier and more reassuring for us.

The nursery app is another huge plus. It's fantastic to receive.

My Son has attended Cherubs at Ilkeston since he was 9months old and we've had nothing but the best care from both the rooms he's been in. He's formed such strong bonds with everyone there, it's heart warming to see. Fantastic nursery!!

Daisies are amazing helping my son everyday so I don't ever have to worry Summer and Saffron have care/taught/kept my son happy and safe and I couldn't be more happy with his experience at Cherubs and the daisies room.

The overall experience from sending my daughter to Cherubs has been faultless. I have only had positive things to say about all the staff at Cherubs especially Summer & Saffron. They have always gone above and beyond and made my daughter go from a very upset little girl on her 1st day to practically running through the door. You can see how much care is taken. The entire nursery is amazing and I can't say enough great things about all the staff who make it run as smooth as it does, including all behind the scenes. Thank you for everything!

The staff are all so friendly and warm, even the staff that arent involved in looking after my daughter, always say hello and goodbye to her by name and wave to her. She happily goes across to them during drop off which shows to me that she is happy to be there. The staff always get fully involved in themed days, dressing up and encouraging the children to do so too. Updates we recieve on the parent app are plenty detailed enough and the handovers are always personal. The nursery from visits, collections and sensory classes have always been clean.

Our Son joined Cherubs Ilkeston in April 2025. He started off in Buttercups room and quickly settled in. I could see from the app updates that he was having a great time. He made a real connection with Daniel and was always excited to see him. He has since moved upstairs to Snowdrops and has coped so well with the transition. He loves all the staff that work in his room. Since being at Cherubs his speech has come on leaps and bounds. He can now say well over 200 words and sing parts of nursery rhymes. When I tell him its Nursery day he picks up his Cherubs backpack and runs to the front door to go. The variety of food on offer is amazing and it is so good to see on the app how much he eats while there (usually all of it) The staff always greet us with a smile and seem genuinely happy to see my son. Its really reassuring when he runs in with no fuss. I couldn't recommend this Nursery enough.

Cherubs Ilkeston have been absolutely amazing with my daughter she always comes home so happy and tells us how much she has done. Olly has been amazing with her she always asks if he'll be in her room and even asks if we can see him at the weekend, it's lovely to see she has such a great connection with him and feels so comfortable to go to nursery knowing he's there.

Our daughter has been attending Cherubs Ilkeston since September 2025. We have had a great experience settling in for both our daughter and us. Having regular updates and photos of what she is doing each day is really reassuring and makes us feel at ease knowing how happy and safe she is and having a fantastic time. In the few weeks she has been attending we can already see a difference in how much more interactive she is.

I couldn't be more happy with Cherubs. They go above and beyond for my little one. He is always so happy from the pictures they send on his session and he loves to be involved in all the activities they set up. The food always looks and smells delicious, it's great knowing everything is cooked from scratch on the premises.

Cherubs have been fantastic in facilitating a comfortable and caring environment with so many development and learning experiences for our little girl. We have seen just how much she has advanced in a short space of time. The girls have been great and make drop offs easy for everyone! I would highly recommend Cherubs Ilkeston to any parent looking to give their little one(s) a home from home environment. Thank you.

The Ilkeston team have been so welcoming + reassuring from day one! Especially one staff member in particular - who my little one has taken too. You have really made this process a lot smoother + easier - and I thank you all so much!

2 staff members in particular and the team at Ilkeston are brilliant. They have been key into my child settling into nursery with no trouble. One staff member in particular was my other child's key worker so it is nice for her to have her.

It's moments like this morning that need a special mention and recognition. Thank you to the manager and my sons key wroker at Ilkeston Cherubs. My little boy was unusually upset going into nursery today and as I was about to leave the nursery manager acknowledged and asked 'is that my son I can hear upset' and said I will go and check he's OK. And did so straight away. His key worker got his favourite toy out (a ball) and was soon to turn it around. I was quickly updated with pictures on the app to reassure me that he was OK playing with his sensory ball with his key worker. This isn't a little thing the acknowledgement, care and reassurance changed a sad little boy happy and a worried mum settled knowing that her boy is in the caring and safest of hands so thank you so much.
