Brightkidz is a great nursery. Staff, facilities and care provided are all excellent. The nursery is on the smaller side compared to others that we considered, which I think is an advantage. Staff and management get to know all the kids really well and are always supportive and personable. The nursery app is great and regularly updated which was great when my child first started. Activities organised are varied and educational for all the children. I would recommend Brightkidz to any parent for their warm staff, good communication, attentive care and value for money.

During this short time, his confidence has grown significantly. He is becoming more independent and enjoys interacting with other children. I have noticed that he is learning many new things every day. He is starting to recognize and say different words, learning numbers and colours. The teachers are caring, patient and supportive, and they create a positive learning environment where children can explore and develop at their own pace. Hello, I'm Varsha Patel, the founder and director of Brightkidz Preschool. My journey into early years began after the birth of my second daughter, when I found it increasingly difficult to balance work and family life. I wanted a career that would allow me to be close to my children while also doing something meaningful, something that felt nurturing, supportive and aligned with my values as a mother. It was through this experience that my passion for childcare truly began. Having my own children showed me just how important those early years are, and inspired me to create a family-like nursery where every child is cared for as if they were our own.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare and have always been passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children and their families, one that truly feels like a home from home. I believe that every child is unique and deserves to be celebrated, supported and encouraged to learn at their own pace through play, discovery and loving guidance. Brightkidz was born out of my vision to offer high-quality care with strong family values at its heart. I'm still very much hands-on and involved in the daily running of the nursery, making sure that every child who walks through our doors feels safe, loved and inspired to grow.
Working closely with families is incredibly important to me, and I believe that the strongest foundations for learning come from meaningful relationships between children, practitioners and parents. It's a joy and privilege to be part of each child's early journey, and I am so proud of the caring, dedicated team we have here at Brightkidz
Hello, I'm Vinita, the nursery manager at BrightKidz Preschool. I have worked in the education sector for over 25 years, and my passion lies in supporting children's development during the most vital and formative years of their lives.
I hold a master's in education (Special Needs) from Brunel University, along with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, and I am currently completing a diploma in Neuroscience to further understand how childrens brains develop and how best to support their emotional and cognitive needs. I have also completed training in Makaton (British Sign Language) to help children with communication difficulties feel included and empowered.
Over the years, I have held a variety of roles from nursery practitioner to room leader, deputy manager and now nursery manager. These experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of what high-quality childcare looks like and how to lead a strong, supportive team that delivers it consistently. I am passionate about creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their world. I also believe in empowering educators through mentoring and training, so we can continuously grow and maintain the high standards our families deserve. It's a privilege to lead the amazing team at Brightkidz and support each child's journey with care.
