Nurturing Growth in a New Community

Coat of Many Colours Nursery in Hounslow opened its doors in May 2024 and has grown from just 4 children to a thriving community of over 30. The nursery offers a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 9 months to school age, where early learning is fostered through play, curiosity, and structured developmental opportunities.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, the nursery supports children across all seven areas of learning, with a focus on school readiness, independence, and emotional well-being. Staff are fully trained, DBS checked and committed to providing exceptional care in partnership with families.

Children have access to a well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning environment, designed to promote exploration and holistic development all year round.

Specialist provision is in place for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring personalised support through collaborative working with external professionals.

Freshly prepared, nutritious meals are served daily, and free meals are provided for children accessing 15-hour funded places. The nursery accepts 15-hour and 30-hour funding for children aged 2, 3, and 4, and offers flexible childcare to support working families.

Children benefit from a rich calendar of experiences, including:
•        Annual coach trips to exciting destinations like Hobbledown and Legoland.
•        Memorable events such as Graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Sports Day, and festive Christmas parties — all with strong parental involvement.

Both of my daughters attend Coat of Many Colours Nursery in Hounslow, and I can honestly say it is the best nursery in the borough. The staff are absolutely wonderful and my children adore them. In fact, whenever we go shopping, my daughters often ask if we can buy something for the staff because they
appreciate them so much.
During school holidays they ask almost every day when they can go back to nursery, which really shows how happy and comfortable they feel there. As a parent, that reassurance means everything.
They also really enjoy the food provided and often ask me to cook the same meals at home! It's clear that a lot of care goes into every aspect of the nursery, from the warm and nurturing environment to the activities and meals provided.
I cannot express how happy I am that we chose this nursery for our children. It's an amazing place with truly dedicated staff who make every child feel valued and loved.

The faculty is awesome, very interactive and caring. Can definitely suggest to go for it for preschool if of kids in cmc. They care for each kid and for their learning. They got a good number of resources for teaching kids. It's definitely worth it

Such a wonderful nursery with caring happy staff full of knowledge and happy to give thorough feedback after sessions. Little one runs comes to the door with a big smile on her face. The staff have created a space with a variety of learning and play options. Often invited in to participate in play sessions.

Nice nursery, very interesting events, my child is very happy to be in this Nursery. She loves her friends and all the nursery staff as well. I like that everyone is kind and helpful. My mother also likes this nursery because it is a 2-minute walk from our house.
