About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
Working parents of 2 to 3 year olds can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week, and some families on qualifying benefits can claim 15 hours regardless of working status. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery applies funded hours during term time only. You've selected 30 funded hours.
This nursery applies up to 7.5 funded hours per day, used only during term time. With your selected funding, 22.5 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

My daughter has attended this preschool since 2024 and absolutely loves it. The staff are caring, attentive, and supportive, creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. The activities are always engaging and educational, covering everything from nature and science topics to gardening, cooking, baking, and creative play. The preschool also does a fantastic job helping children develop social and emotional skills, encouraging them to talk about and understand their feelings. Mila is always excited to go and comes home full of stories about her day. We couldn't be happier with the care, dedication, and enthusiasm shown by the whole team. Highly recommended!

The staff are amazing. My older son who is 5 with autism and additional needs first started here. The preschool were very supportive and the reason we got lots of support and a quick diagnosis. My 3 year old now attends Abacus and has done so since he was 2. He loves the staff and all the children. In my opinion it's a home from home. A very stimulating and inclusive environment where every individual matters and is encouraged to grown and develop. My son now loves cooking and growing vegetables and plants, just some of the activities he does at Abacus. The communication from the staff is great and the app allows you to recieve up to date info and up to date development info and photos of your child. Can not recommend them enough

Abacus Preschool Emersons Green has been absolutely fantastic for my child. She has grown so much in not just her education but her confidence. When she began at Abacus she could only say a few words, was very shy and timid. To now starting school in september, being the most outgoing, confident, content and happy child hitting every milestone with ease. They have supported not only my child but ourselves as a family. The staff truly are the BEST OF THE BEST!
I cannot reccomend Abacus enough to any parent who may be nervous about there own child starting preschool - you wont be disappointed.

We love Abacus preschool, both my children (10&3) go to and have attended Abacus preschool, it is a brilliant start to their schooling life. All staff are amazing and so easy to chat to and approach, staff are always around to help and offer support. Abacus Emersons was especially helpful when my eldest had to be on hospital for a while when my younger child was due to start, they were very accommodating when having to change things last minute and gave my youngest extra support due to the tricky time at home. I have always loved abacus and even with a 7 year age gap between my children - my youngest was always going to go to abacus when she was the right age. I now have another child who will also attend Abacus when she is 2.
We love the set up at abacus and that they mix the age groups. There are always lots s of activities on offer during th day and plenty of outdoor space for the children. My daughter always comes home from preschool having had a great time.
