Bright Kids Lower Quinton is preparing to return home - not simply to a redecorated nursery, but to a setting that has been extensively renovated, extended and reimagined for local children.
The nursery joined the Bright Kids family in September 2023. To allow the major building work to take place properly, the entire setting temporarily relocated to Stratford Agri-Park, where children continue to be cared for while the transformation is completed....

We also strongly disagreed with the new ethos. Traditional celebrations such as Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day were no celebrated as they used to be and artwork and creativity was no longer encouraged. When we raised this, leadership stated that "creativity is arbitrary," which confirmed our concerns.
We made the decision to leave, and our child is now thriving elsewhere. While this setting may work for some, it did not meet our expectations or support our child's needs
Fantastic nursery, highly recommend. My little boy has been going to the nursery for over a year now, he took a while to settle in but the staff were so patient with him and did what was best for him to help him settle. They are all so friendly and are happy to chat about any questions or concerns you may have. A good handover is given on collection. Great lunch and tea menus. We love the regular uploads on the app to keep parents up to date with everything the children have been doing.
We are very happy with the nursery, we were getting a little frustrated with the mess our child was getting in during his lunch at the nursery and in turn returning home in but since this has been discussed there has been no further issue. Besides this, we are very pleased with our child's development at the nursery and find the staff very helpful and empathetic when needed both towards our child and us.
Highly recommended - teachers are warm, friendly & knowledgeable. They have made my little one's adventure into nursery life seamless & an enjoyable experience. My little one is learning so much through explorative play & the nursery’s learning facilities supported by the teachers.
The new set-up of the curiosity approach has really sparked my child’s interest and I can see lots of developments happening both inside and out.
They have also been very understanding with my child’s dietary needs and helped to form routines.
Thank you.
The staff are doing such a great job, the nursery rooms are improving every day! Lots of new activities every day, so much choice for the older children to do as well.
My two children love coming to the nursery/out-of-school club and have such a great day and come home so happy but also so tired from all the fun they’ve had!
Keep up the great work Bright Kids staff!
Such a great nursery my 2-year-old attends 2 full days a week. We get lovely updates on activities throughout the day and I love that they tailor these for each child to help with their development. My son has grown in confidence and the new skills he has learnt are definitely noticeable. The staff are amazing and I couldn't feel more comfortable leaving him in their care - top-class nursery! - also to note I think the funded childcare introduction was handled really well and was super easy from my side considering all the noise I have heard of people having issues so thank you Bright Kids.
Many thanks to all the staff for their dedication and hard work in making the nursery a fun environment for an older child who is in after school club. You always make me aware when my child is not feeling well and will provide a good handover upon collection.
The staff have been excellent. They are all very friendly, experts in their field and take exception care of (the child in question). My child has excelled in his mobility, learning and social interaction while being at Bright Kids. The nursery is excellent.
Overall a great little nursery. Communication and updates via the app are really good and with a regular frequency. Always adapting their activities to the children’s interests that week: right now it’s all about dinosaurs, so all the tactile and engaging activities are adjusted to have dinosaurs in them somehow. Great staff, friendly, reliable and trustworthy. Been to other nurseries in Stratford and the quality here exceeds both.
We have a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old at this nursery, both have really settled in well and are thriving. Communication from this nursery is fantastic, keeping us updated on all activities with lovely pictures.
My toddler has been going to this nursery for over 6 months now and I couldn't be more happy. I get so many updates during the week regarding his activities and his development. He has been learning so many things and each and every day I can see there is so much progress with all that he does.
I am happy with the nursery - my child comes home smiling all the time. The activities are varied - providing a good opportunity for both fun and learning. His vocabulary is increasing and we always look forward to seeing the daily report. The pics are a delight.
My daughters have been going to the wrap-around care for 18 months now. The service they offer is a lifeline to parents around this area. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There are always activities to keep the children entertained while they wait and more importantly, even on the days the girls don't attend, the staff still acknowledge them at school if they see them. Also, it's great to see the outside space being spruced up for the summer. Thank you for all your hard work.

Sam has dedicated more than 20 years to working with children and families across a wide range of early years environments, including sessional preschools, school-based provision, after-school clubs and day nurseries. This varied experience has given her a strong understanding of how children’s needs can differ and how important it is to create a setting where every child feels secure, included and inspired.
She began her career by completing a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education, before progressing to an HND in Early Years. She then achieved Early Years Professional Status and completed a BA Honours degree in Integrated Services for Children and Families.
Throughout her career, she has worked as a practitioner, room leader, curriculum manager and deputy manager before progressing into nursery management. Each role has strengthened her passion for helping children flourish through play, creativity and meaningful experiences that build confidence, independence and a lifelong curiosity for learning.
Alongside her role as Nursery Manager, Sam is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENCO at Lower Quinton. She is passionate about working closely with families and professionals to ensure every child receives the individual care, understanding and support they need to reach their full potential.
She said: "I am incredibly proud to lead the Lower Quinton team as we begin an exciting new chapter within our newly transformed nursery, creating a welcoming and inspiring environment in which our children and families can truly thrive."

Rachel's Bright Kids journey began in 2019 at Bright Kids Evesham, where she joined the team as a Nursery Practitioner before progressing to Senior Practitioner. In January 2024, she moved to Lower Quinton to take on the role of Deputy Nursery Manager, bringing her experience, knowledge and passion for early years with her.
She holds an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education and has worked within childcare for more than 23 years. Throughout that time, Rachel has developed a deep understanding of how important a child’s earliest experiences are in shaping their confidence, development and enthusiasm for learning.
She is particularly passionate about learning and development and believes children thrive when they are given opportunities to explore, experiment and follow their interests. Through play, imagination and creativity, we can help children build strong foundations while making learning meaningful, exciting and enjoyable.
She said: "I am proud to support our children, families and team at Lower Quinton as we begin this exciting new chapter in our transformed nursery."
