The Nursery on the Green

Finding the right nursery for our son was more about providing him with an opportunity to socialise than an emergency need, and after several months of research, we're so happy we found The Nursery on the Green. It feels like the perfect place for him- a home-like environment on a larger scale where he can interact with other children. We truly appreciate how the team adapts to each child's individual needs, with the staff being thoughtful, attentive, and consistently updating us on our son's progress. Initially, we were concerned about how he'd settle in, but we've been amazed at how comfortable and happy he's become. Both my husband and I feel completely confident in the quality of care, the facilities, and the attention our son receives, and we're so grateful for everything The Nursery on the Green has provided. Thank you to the entire team for making such a difference in our son's life.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery since it opened a year ago. I was concerned at the start as she was well settled in another nursery. Fortunately for us she absolutely loves it there. It is a small nursery that is still trying to establish itself but that doesn't mean the kids miss out on anything at all. The staff are amazing and treat the children as though they are family, they truly care about them and strive to do their very best. The children have lots of opportunities to explore the surroundings outside of the nursery and they have regular trips to the local library which all the kids enjoy. There is a real family feel to the nursery and it has been lovely to see the kids make friends and form lovely bonds. I regularly get told off for coming to collect her too early as she wants to stay longer!

Our daughter started at "The Nursery on the Green" when she was 9 months old and has been attending two days a week for nearly 2 months now. I was an absolute emotional mess at the thought of leaving my baby with people I didn't know, but I have to say the staff are truly amazing and made the transition of going back to work as smooth as possible. My daughter has never cried at drop-offs (which melts my heart she feels comfortable with them), and she is full of very tired smiles when I collect her. She clearly has the best time there! I now feel secure leaving her in their very capable hands. The setting is beautiful and the spacious room with large windows allows so much natural light in - it has a lovely feel to it. Also, the app updates are great and get me through my shifts. As you can tell - I am their number 1 fan, and I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for going above and beyond caring for my daughter!
