Based within the Park Edge Family Hub in Coventry, the nursery is surrounded by the families, services and local organisations that make Bell Green what it is. This location helps the team build meaningful community partnerships, create new experiences for children and support families through strong local connections.
Bright Kids took over the nursery in September 2023 and completed a full refurbishment, transforming the setting into a calm, purposeful environment for babies, toddlers and preschool children. Each age group has space designed around the way children explore, communicate and develop.
The nursery follows the Bright Kids approach without giving children a day filled with identical, adult-led activities. Practitioners watch, listen and notice what interests each child, then introduce resources, language and experiences that help their ideas grow. Open-ended materials, natural objects and familiar items from real life allow children to build, combine, pretend, investigate and find their own solutions.
A china tea set might inspire a café, loose parts may become a road or sculpture, and everyday utensils can prompt questions about shape, weight and purpose. These experiences help children become confident decision-makers, capable communicators and active participants in their own learning.
Indoor and outdoor play are available throughout the day, giving children opportunities to move, create, collaborate and explore in different ways. The nursery also offers funded and fee-paying places across its age groups and is now open all year round, providing greater continuity and flexibility for local families.

Our daughter Jaynell has had such a positive experience at this nursery, and we are so grateful to all the staff for their care and support. Since starting, she has become more confident, independent, and eager to learn. It's lovely to see how happy she is every day and how excited she gets to share what she's been doing. The staff are friendly, approachable, and genuinely care about every child. They create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children can grow, explore, and build confidence at their own pace. At the beginning, the settling-in period was a little challenging because she was very attached to me, but the staff were patient, kind, and supportive throughout the process. Now she goes in with a smile and I collect her just as happy, which gives me great reassurance as a parent. I am very pleased with the care, warmth, and attention she receives, and I can clearly see how comfortable and confident she has become. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

The nursery is very accommodating to my daughter's disability, from starting in April, shortly after a surgery, with multiple catheters and medication, the staff were amazing and went beyond to meet her needs. She wasn't speaking and was traumatised from her recent surgery and didn't have faith in anyone, apart from Mum and Dad. She's now speaking two-word sentences and learning to count. Every single staff member is amazing with her, especially one member of staff in particular. My daughter clicked with her straight away and from the get-go trusted her in which isn't something she does lightly. I can't thank the nursery for all they do!

Emma has been part of the Bright Kids team since the nursery joined the group, having come from the previous team. She now has over 16 years of experience working within early years.
Her career began as a Level 3 Practitioner and, through her passion for childcare and commitment to developing her knowledge, she went on to complete a Foundation Degree in 2013. After taking a short break to start her own family, she returned to early years and progressed through a range of leadership roles, from Practitioner and Room Leader to Deputy Manager and now Nursery Manager.
She said: "I feel incredibly privileged to watch children learn, grow and develop throughout their time with us. I am equally passionate about supporting members of our team to build their confidence, develop their skills and progress within their own careers.
One of my favourite things to do in nursery is share stories with the children. I love bringing books to life, encouraging children to join in and seeing where their own ideas and imaginations take the story."
