La Petite Nursery in Maida Vale offers more than childcare, providing a nurturing environment where children discover talents, develop creativity, and build curiosity as they prepare for life. The year-round curriculum and full-day care combine child-led exploration with guided activities, ensuring every child learns through play and progresses according to individual interests, needs, and abilities.
Qualified and experienced teachers support each child's development through meaningful, hands-on experiences that engage all five senses. Children explore a wide range of subjects, including language, literacy, mathematics, science, and the arts, while building independence, confidence, problem-solving skills, and positive relationships.
The nursery's approach is tailored to each stage of early development. Dreamers and Explorers receive attentive care from specially trained staff who meet essential needs while encouraging early discovery. Climbers are supported as they develop physical independence, explore senses, and become familiar with routines and group activities. Adventurers learn practical self-care skills, begin potty training, discover healthy eating habits, and strengthen language and social skills through stories, music, and shared play.
Leaders are prepared for the transition to school through engaging activities that introduce early literacy, mathematics, and technology in playful ways. Leaders also practise dressing independently, recognising names, and building lasting friendships.
With a caring atmosphere, individualised curriculum, and dedicated teaching team, La Petite Nursery helps every child grow, explore, and reach full potential at an individual pace.

About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 45 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 45 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 25.3 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.
