Twinkle Stars Montessori Nursery Northwood

Twinkle Stars Montessori Nursery Northwood is an accredited Montessori nursery with over 15 years of experience, providing a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where every child is valued as a unique individual.

The nursery combines authentic Montessori principles with the EYFS curriculum, creating carefully prepared spaces where children can explore, make choices, develop independence and learn at their own pace. From infancy through to age five, activities are tailored to each child’s stage of development, supporting sensory exploration, motor skills, communication, cognitive and emotional growth, confidence and self-reliance. Children are encouraged to embrace challenges and understand that mistakes are a natural and valuable part of learning.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on inclusion, equality, diversity, tolerance, and respect. Each child has a dedicated Key Person who takes primary responsibility for care and development, helping every child feel secure and understood.

The dedicated, qualified team at Twinkle Stars Montessori Nursery Northwood is passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential. Staff are DBS-checked and trained in child protection and paediatric first aid, with ongoing professional development, appraisals, and reviews that support high standards of care.

Twinkle Stars offers term-time and all-year-round care, with morning, afternoon and full-day sessions, alongside breakfast and after-school clubs. Children can also enjoy a range of extracurricular activities, including French, computing, drama, yoga, ballet and gymnastics.

The nursery works closely with families through open communication, placing children's wellbeing, happiness and love of learning at the heart of its approach. Read less
