My son attended Little Heart's from ages 1.5 to age 4 when he then started reception. He was a shy COVID baby who the thanks to the amazing girls at little hearts left a clever, confident & happy child ready for his next chapter at school. Since the takeover and Katie managing the communication, planned
activities for the children have been absolutely fantastic and have given my son the best start possible in education. A home from home and will be sending my daughter when I return to work after maternity.

My little boy Alfie joined Little Hearts in 2022 just 8 months old. The moment he stepped foot in the door he adored each and every staff member dearly. Alfie attended Little Hearts full time and as a first time Mum it was daunting leaving him but they made me feel so at ease with constant checks ins
on how his day was going, a full book was completed each day on what he had done, ate slept etc!
Little hearts became his second family he would skip in and never want to leave, every member was so caring kind and warming. The transition from baby room to toddler and pre school was second to none. He developed to the little boy he is today due to the staff in the Nursery.
The learning and development I found impeccable with various activities set up each day and themes each week, especially pre school I seen a huge change in Alfie he was able to count, sing and flourish in his new school due to how amazing Little Hearts was.
Due to how amazing they were my little girl is joining!!

My daughter attended this nursery from feb 25- sept 25 and I cannot fault the nursery! They were brilliant. I had to move my child from another establishment which I was nervous about because she didn't settle well in the other nursery despite being there for 2.5 years!
But within a week she settled
in great and loved going in everyday!
The staff are amazing and I would 100% bring any future children here and recommend to anyone!

Current Review Score: 8.5 (8.502)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.5 (8.502) out of 10 for Little Hearts Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 3 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.6 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.857 for Little Hearts Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (32 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 35 Ratings = 4.857
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.645 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Hearts Day Nursery is based on 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.25
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 38 number of registered child places is 7.6. 3 Positive Reviews ÷ 7.6 = 0.395
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
