Smarties Meols Day Nursery & Pre-School

I couldn't have picked a better nursery for my Daughter staff are knowledgeable and trained well and my daughter loves them like family.

Our daughter loves her time at Smarties, the staff are always so friendly and professional and the day is action packed with great activities for her. Looking forward to some warmer weather so she can enjoy their fabulous outdoor space too.

Both of my girls were very well looked after and would recommend Smarties.

Smarties is an amazing nursery , incredible care and attention to detail at this nursery! My little ones have allergies, and the staff have gone ABOVE and BEYOND to cater to their needs. From bespoke meal plans to constant communication, nothing is to much The care is amazing, and the love they show the kids is heartwarming . I couldn't recommend them more - the girls are amazing with the children and it's such a friendly nursery!

Our children absolutely love their time at Smarties. Staff are kind, fun and genuinely have great relationships with our boys. They enjoy the food they are served and are developing their early learning skills well. We feel completely safe and trusting when dropping them off and will be very sad when they eventually leave!

We have been delighted with Smarties since we moved to Meols a couple of years ago. The nursery is a really warm, supportive and caring environment. Both our little ones are always happy at drop off and pickup which I think is reflective of the special bond they both have with the team. It's been lovely to see them enjoying the thoughtfully planned activities on the parent app and to read and hear the thoughts of the team each day. We feel very fortunate to have such a capable, caring and hard working team there for the kids each day. Thank you everyone.

I currently have a daughter in pre-school and she is absolutely thriving. My oldest daughter also went to Smarties and left to go into reception with amazing skills in her reading and writing, she had such confidence starting school because Smarties prepared her so well. Both my girls started Smarties as babies and I have always had 100% confidence in the team when it comes to the care and development of my girls. The team are so caring and my girls have always been so happy going into Smarties and at the end of the day when they leave. My daughter always tells me about what they have been up to and how much fun she has had. She has such varied days learning so many new things. My youngest will be starting in the baby room shortly and I am confident she will settle in and will be really happy there. The owner and her team are very knowledgeable, just lovely people and really do care about the children in their care.

The entire team is very professional and always informative. It's clear that the staff care about the kids and are passionate about facilitating their growth. The space has been designed with the children in mind.

We have used Smarties all the way through since baby room until now where we use the walking bus to/from school. Throughout, the staff have been extremely professional and friendly and have always provided excellent care. Both my children have loved going to nursery, made great relationships with the staff and other children and were brilliantly prepared for school. Recent improvements, such as developing the outside space into a mud kitchen/sand pit area, have really added to the facilities. Overall, we would definitely highly recommend it.

My son settled really well at Smarties. He has attended since 12 months old and looks forward to his nursery days! The staff are great, and come up with such imaginative activities. His learning and development have come on leaps and bounds - a huge part of this is down to Smarties, and I am always updated via the app about what he has been up to. He has become a better eater this year - regarding vegetables, which are credited to the nursery. Smarties have great outdoor facilities - my son particularly loves the new front garden! I think it’s great that the nursery takes them on trips out too!

My son was at Smarties from 11 months to 4 years when he started school. The staff were always great and friendly, always gave an update of what the children had been doing and how they were getting on, and helped with naps and toilet training. The new management is great, and the changes really made a difference. Smarties did a great job at preparing him for school; the preschool was small, so the staff knew the children well. They had day trips out, trips to the park, and great locations for things like the beach etc. Absolutely would recommend this nursery and will be using it again for the second child.
