Cutie Pies Nursery Maryland is dedicated to giving children a strong foundation for confident, lifelong learning in a loving, secure, and nurturing environment. The nursery recognises the concerns that parents face when choosing childcare and strives to provide a welcoming extension of home where each child is valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.
Founded by an experienced team with a strong background in higher education, the nursery brings deep educational knowledge and a thorough understanding of learning and development. In 2017, the founders set out to bring this expertise to early years education, creating a setting where high-quality care, transparency, and individual attention are central. The nursery opened in February 2019 and overcame pandemic challenges by remaining dedicated to families and building a strong, supportive community.
Guided by the philosophy of growing with love and learning with joy, Cutie Pies Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to offer a safe, stimulating environment where children can explore, discover, and develop at their own pace. The team values close partnerships with parents, celebrates diversity, listens to family feedback, and maintains consistent routines between home and nursery.
With love at the centre of its approach, the nursery nurtures each child’s sense of belonging, security, and self-worth while encouraging kindness, empathy, respect, and curiosity. The aim is to build the essential foundations that children need to thrive both in their early years and throughout life.
Families are invited to book a free tour to explore the classrooms, meet the dedicated team, and discover the nursery’s approach. By working closely with parents, Cutie Pies Nursery creates personalised settling-in plans to help each child feel comfortable, build confidence, and enjoy a positive start to their learning journey.

About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 52 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
This nursery applies up to 9.8 funded hours per day, stretched across 52 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 21.9 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.
