More Than Just a Nursery

Little St Mary’s is a vibrant, purpose-built nursery located beside the Pre-Prep building, where girls from the age of three embark on an exciting journey of discovery and learning. Each day is filled with joy, curiosity, and purposeful activity through a structured routine that includes early Maths, English, and Phonics. It is always a delight to see how quickly the youngest pupils begin to read and write - often after just half a term.

A typical week offers a rich variety of experiences: Forest School adventures on Mondays, lively French lessons on Tuesdays, and four energetic PE sessions spread throughout the week. Wednesdays bring Ballet in the school’s dance studio, Thursdays are filled with music and song, and Fridays begin with a cheerful Disco before ending with Celebration Assembly and Golden Time.

From January, the Nursery girls also take part in weekly swimming lessons, building confidence and independence. Within this warm and nurturing environment, every child at Little St Mary’s grows into a happy, confident, and curious learner - eager to embrace all that lies ahead.

My daughter has recieved an excellent start to her learning at St Mary's.
Miss Rose and her team are excellent.
Lessons are shared in a fun way and my daughter is extremely engaged with her learning and the variety of activities available.

Simply Amazing!
Both of our children have absolutely thrived at Little St Mary's Nursery.
The teachers are incredible and can't do enough for the girls. They genuinely care and it shows.
