Little Years Nursery @ Kirkbymoorside

Little Years Nursery is such a lovely nursery, my daughter thoroughly enjoys her time there and is always happy to go! I love how the nursery is smaller in comparison to others as it has more of a homely environment and the children don’t get overwhelmed. The staff are lovely and I know my daughter has bonded well with them, you can tell that they genuinely care about them and really want to help them learn as they always have different activities for them and I always look forward to hearing what they have done in the day! My daughter goes one full day a week and has all her food there, the food timetable has so much variety which is brilliant because some things she won’t have a chance to eat at home. Overall, a fantastic environment and can’t praise the staff enough for what they do.

My child has been attending the nursery since April 2023, he was given plenty of time to settle in when he first started and the staff took the time to get to know him well. Almost a year later he is happy to go in, knows his caregivers well and comes home with a smile. The nursery offers a range of activities both within the nursery and in the local community. There is variety in the meals offered and he never comes home hungry! The nursery is small which creates a homely atmosphere. The children are looked after but also learn the importance of looking after each other too. I feel that the staff know my little boy and have a genuine affection for him and him for them. The nursery environment is always been worked upon and the improvements are evident from opening last year.

Mr daughter has been going to this nursery for a number of months now and thoroughly enjoys herself every day. She has fun, but always learns new things every day. She’s made some great friends with the other children along with great bonds with some of the teachers there. She’s proud as punch to bring paintings and artwork home to show us and enjoys explaining her days. Great team, very well run and managed. Thanks LYN KMS.

An absolutely amazing nursery with such wonderful staff. My son has attended this nursery for over a year and has come on so well. My son was nonverbal when he first started but now has a wide vocabulary and is able to hold conversations thanks to his key worker and the other staff. My son loves going to nursery and asks to go even on his days at home, he has made lovely friends and always has lots to tell us at home about what he has been doing.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery and looks forward to going every week. The staff are very reassuring and friendly and carry out a wide range of activities for the children to do. The meals are exceptional and always have a healthy homemade main meal with snacks too. My son has formed a lovely bond with the staff especially 1 or 2 in particular and has made a few friends which really puts my mind at ease when dropping him off before going to work for the day.

A lovely nursery run by a team that care for each child individually.

I couldn't recommend Little Years Nursery in Kirkbymoorside enough. The staff are all wonderful and have made the settling-in period for my daughter, 23 months old, as smooth and as comfortable as possible.

Amazing staff, amazing place. My little boy has settled right in and the staff make you as the parent feel happy and relaxed, the layout is lovely and so relaxing. The activities they do with the children are not only fun but educational. It's more a second home than a nursery its got an amazing family feel to it. My son loves his key person and they have such a lovely bond after such a short time. As a parent, I've never felt so happy and relaxed leaving my child knowing how happy he is there and how excited he gets to go.

Lovely nursery all the staff are so friendly and helpful and both my children love going. Since my children started in September they have both come on so much in all aspects. And the fact the kids be outside playing is lovely.

I have been putting off sending my son to a nursery setting due to his needs as he has cerebral palsy and struggles with a number of daily activities, including new people and surroundings. I heard of this nursery and I instantly felt the owner's heart and soul had gone into it for a number of reasons! I got a place for my son and he took to it incredibly! He loves it! He has a great bond with the ladies who work here and has come on a lot already!I genuinely could not recommend this nursery highly enough! Incredible people and a lovely homely environment for children to learn and play!
