Butterflies Nursery and Preschool

Very grateful to the team for being a constant in his life.

I have 2 children at the nursery who run in every time happy to see everyone, all the staff are so caring and treat the children as if they are their own. Any queries asked are always answered promptly and professionally. They have recently done up the garden which is a fantastic area for the children and they have the hall inside which they use regularly. My eldest regularly seeks attention from the manager who is always happy to stop what she is doing to take the time to spend time with him.

My daughter has been coming here for over 2 years and she loves it. Every member of staff are kind, friendly and caring. There are lots of varied activities for the children to do with plenty of space to have fun, learn and grow.

Our daughter has attended Butterflies for over a year progressing from the baby room to now the toddler area, and settled in really well, always happy at drop off and keen to head in! They seem to do lots of fun themed activities as well as spending time in the garden and the hall to burn off steam. The nursery has a real family feel to it where all the staff know the names of the children, even if they're not specifically in their room. Would definitely recommend.

Natalie and her team are just lovely, and our daughter has really thrived under their care for the past 2 years. She loves attending each day, playing outdoors daily and is always super tired at the end of each busy day crafting, playing, singing & dancing. It really has a family-vibe and everyone personally knows our daughter by name.

Definitely recommend this nursery if you are looking. We wouldn't send our son to any other settings.

Can not fault this nursery! Both my children have attended and one is currently there. The staff and management have worked so hard with both my children to the point they are not bothered mummy is there to collect. They both thrived and special measures put in place to support my asd child who has flourished in this setting. Beautiful garden and fun activities in the hall when the weather is bad. So supportive towards family and constant updates. Knowing my child is safe and amazingly cared for. Highly recommend to anyone wanting the best for their children. Both our Sons attend the Nursery and have done since they were 11 months old, we would highly recommend Butterflies for any families looking for a home from home environment. The staff are more than just friendly, they go above and beyond to ensure the children feel safe and cared for, they have also supported us through challenging times with advice and kindness. The daily activities are always pre planned with thoughtful educational aspects. On sunny days they use the well equipped garden and on rainy days they have use of the large hall, occasionally they go on trips to local parks etc. The food is nutritious, varied and plentiful. The only complaint I would have is that we don't get many photos- but having said that, I'd rather the staff were being interactive with the children than sat on a screen sending photos all day so I'll get over it! Both boys are excited to attend in the mornings and happy when we pick them up in the afternoons which speaks volumes!

I highly recommend Butterflies Nursery. Our two children attend and absolutely love it. The indoor space is large, and the newly refurbished outdoor area is excellent. In bad weather, children can use the church hall, often coming home happily worn out. We appreciate the "about me books," which highlight activities and key developmental observations we can support at home. The nursery offers a wide range of engaging arts, crafts, and seasonal activities. The children often bring home impressive artwork. Staff have been very supportive with toilet training and behaviour development. We receive regular app updates on meals and sleep, communication at pickup is always thorough. The staff are caring, engaging, and attentive, there are very strong bonds between the staff and children. You can see the genuine passion for childcare. Feedback is welcomed, and the nursery continually improves. The staff have contributed so much to my children's early life which we will be forever grateful for.

Owners only care about the money and the babies are NEVER taken outside for fresh air. Avoid avoid avoid
