Duchess Nursery Abingdon

I have had two children attend Duchess Nursery Abingdon and they both have had a great time here. They both settled in well and are well-cared for by the staff. The nursery is clean and the children are exposed to lots of different activities and sensory tasks.

There are not enough positive words to describe Duchess Nursery Abingdon and its amazing staff and management! We've been so impressed at all stages of our son's development. The kindness, professionalism and pastoral care is outstanding.

We have two children who attend Duchess Nursery, 3 and 1. They've always been brilliant since our eldest started here in 2024. Amy and her team have continued to make significant investments including furthering the baby room, improving the garden, installing new flooring, making a sensory room and generally sprucing up the setting and making it a welcoming environment.

Staff seem happy and really engage well with the children, both of mine are very well bonded to staff (especially key workers) and they all have a robust knowledge of each child's needs and personalities. They were helpful in potty training and improving naps for us and have always communicated well.

The food is healthy, freshly made and really enjoyed by both of my children (they seem to eat better here than at home!). My youngest is dairy free and I'm always very pleased to see how they go above and beyond to make her meals dairy free without her having a different meal, making her feel included.

Duchess nursery is excellent! My son loves going there and the staff are always caring and friendly. They nurture the children and provide lots of exciting learning opportunities. I would definitely recommend this nursery!

The team at Duchess Abingdon are truly amazing. Dedicated , caring, and consistently putting the children at the heart of everything they do. Their passion is immense creating an environment where children feel safe, supported and intrigued to discover more. Our two boys have absolutely excelled, growing in confidence, independence and knowledge. We couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional start they've been given.

We have been sending our children to the Duchess for 3+ years and I cannot praise it highly enough. The staff are brilliant - they go the extra mile and tailor their care to your child's needs. I have always felt confident dropping off my children here that they are in good hands.

My daughter loves Duchess Abingdon. She's been going since she was one and it's been amazing to see her confidence and independence grow during her time. She can't wait to go in on nursery days! All the team are amazing - very caring and great communication. Would 100% recommend.

The staff at the nursery are incredibly kind and helpful, and our kids love it here! We are very grateful for all of the extra opportunities they provide and for the close attention they pay to the children. They seem to really care.
