Walmgate Day Nursery

My twin boys attend Walmgate Day Nursery, and from the first day they were treated with love, the manager and her team are amazing. My boys are always happy to go in, and i know why. I highly recommend this Nursery

My son has just started this nursery this September and I am very pleased with the up-to-date detailed feedback given at handover and the parent app! You can also tell every staff member there is loving and nurturing. Very trustworthy nursery and also help support your child's development with a variety of activities, even safe walks through the city and surrounding parks which is amazing in my opinion! If you are stuck on choice honestly hands down recommend this nursery.

I am so lucky to have found this nursery. My two daughters have been attending for over a year and absolutely love going. As a parent, you want your children to be safe, engaged, appreciated and understood, and I have absolute faith that every single member of staff achieves all of the above. The main thing I love is the team feeling you get there. There is a really positive culture there amongst the staff, and they seem to have all developed strong and meaningful relationships with all the children despite being based in particular rooms.

The staff are so friendly and they help with any problems you may have. They look after all of the children so well. I can't wait for my son to start. The staff are so great. I would recommend the nursery to my friends.

Absolutely amazing nursery with great staff, my little boy absolutely loves it. It has brought him on so much they love all his key workers and they always come to me if they have any concerns, they always try him with new stuff and always end up having new food, which is very good.

Fantastic nursery. Our little boy has come along so much since starting there over a year ago and is ready to move up to the next age group. The staff are all really helpful and all know our son by name, and he nearly knows all of theirs now. Never had any problems whatsoever with anything such as funding queries, through to behaviours. Very knowledgeable on all fronts and would highly recommend the nursery to anyone. It is comfortably his favourite time of the week!

I have been a customer since 2018, my kids love their times in Walmgate Day Nursery! The staff are caring, kind and fantastic. All concerns addressed as appropriate. The nursery provided a lot of interesting and stimulating activities for the kids. Walking into town, picnicking in the museum garden and visiting the library has always been the highlight of their day. Thank you Walmgate Day Nursery for playing such a special role in the children's lives, we will be incredibly sad as my youngest leaves next September!

My daughter loves going to nursery and the staff are lovely and caring. When I pick her up at the end of the day, they give me a detailed report of how the day went (e.g. activities, food intake, engagement in activities communication/language) and may also give suggestions on things to work on at home. For example, my child is 2 and I never heard her saying 'please' but a member of staff told me she was saying it in the nursery. The member of staff told me how to prompt my daughter to say 'please' as she had a particular way of encouraging her to say it and we've been practising at home. I really appreciate their hard work in caring for and teaching our little ones.
