Lark Hill Nursery School

kids like it very much to be in the nursery.

helped us with this, he loves the free flow of the provision and the independence he is allowed there but also feels safe with the lovely staff.

They give regular updates and are always happy to have a chat and have carers pop in and say hi. We used another private nursery previously and after only a few weeks saw what a significant difference there was in our child going to Lark Hill Nursery School. Everything was better and I only wish someone had recommended here earlier on. I highly recommend Lark Hill Nursery School. The manager and her team are fabulous.

I was also impressed with the caring and experienced staff, with low staff turnover which is a rare find in many settings.

We have since sent our other son to Lark Hill as well when it was time for him to go to nursery and I would 100% recommend it to anyone.

The children have so much fun and are looked after so well, as little individuals. The staff really get to know each child and their needs and personalities. There is such thought and careful consideration that goes into each activity and play space, and we have found it to be an extremely caring and supportive first learning environment for our boys.

Go and have a look around, you don't regret it!

The staff are lovely and very supportive not just to my son but also to me. We sadly lost my mum last year and the nursery checked in on us often and even offered to move my son's hours around to accommodate arrangements if needed. For me, this shows that they care not just for the children but the families too and understand that family dynamics have such a massive impact on children’s development. On top of that, the support for my son individually is amazing. He has a speech delay and the staff have worked with me and my husband to help encourage his speech, and the activities they do all help this and we are seeing so much progress now.

Unfortunately, his time there was cut short due to Covid 19. But we were so impressed with the way the staff dealt with lockdown. He thoroughly enjoyed the videos posted by the staff, the storytimes, and was keen to join in with the suggested activities. He is nearly at the end of reception now and recently said that he missed nursery and the staff there, who really made an impact on him.

simply wonderful and both my children still feel deep connections to their favourite key workers months (and even years for my eldest) after leaving. The learning environment supports independent choice with different areas for activities and independent development, mixing paints from powder, washing up after etc. The information on development provided to parents and the opportunity to speak to key workers is brilliant. I cannot fault any area and I'm sure this is why it is consistently 'outstanding'. I have no more children to send to Lark Hill but I will have fond memories of our time there.

There is a great working relationship between the staff at the nursery. Communication is regular and activities are varied, most of all, they care wholeheartedly. Overall, this nursery is an outstanding environment where children flourish. I couldn’t recommend more!

outdoors. I’m looking forward to my little boy spending more time at the nursery once he goes into the next classroom. I always thought I wouldn’t use a nursery as we don’t need it for childcare but I’m so glad I found Lark Hill as my little boy has come on so much in his personal development and we think that is definitely from attending nursery and socialising with the teachers and other children.
