King's House Nursery is an exceptional nursery with a genuinely warm and nurturing environment. The teachers and support staff are incredibly caring and create a space where every child is seen as an individual that feels happy, safe and excited to learn. Our child has been so well looked after and treated with real kindness and attention.

The nursery offers fantastic activities including Dough Disco, Rock Star Wednesday, Baking Thursday and a brilliant Forest School programme. Every day is different and engaging. Our child runs into nursery every morning and even asks if he can go at the weekend!

We have seen huge growth in his confidence, social skills and phonics since starting here. The nursery also does an amazing job of helping the children build friendships and play with everyone.

We cannot recommend King's House Nursery highly enough. It has been a wonderful experience for our family and has prepared our child perfectly for starting Reception.

King's House Nursery is heaven on earth. The Head, along with her amazing staff, run a fabulous place where my 2 children have been nurtured and supported over the past 4 years. The nursery gives not only fantastic educational guidance but also strong emotional development where every child feels confident and happy. My 2 children have flourished because of this nursery.

Our son has just completed his first term at King's House and couldn't be happier. He looks forward to going to nursery every morning and recently when he told me he was going on holiday and I asked him where to, he said "King's House"! The staff are all so caring and I love receiving incredibly detailed feedback and photos about what he does. I've also been so impressed with the educational side, and how their play is focussed on fun ways of learning things such as numbers and shapes. Every week there is a different theme, ranging from "fireworks" to "kindness". I would highly recommend King's House Nursery.

My girl absolutely loves going to nursery and is so happy there. She particularly enjoys Forest School, Show & Tell, and playing with her friends. Kings House offers a wonderful mix of proper learning and fun, and I'd really recommend it.

My daughter has just completed a year at Kings House Nursery from age 3 to 4. I was impressed from my first viewing. Whilst other nurseries did viewings outside of opening times, Kings House showed me around during the morning whilst the children were in class. I was able to see the lovely nurturing environment and how different groups of children were engaged in meaningful activities. The building and gardens are beautiful and well-equipped. The children are given mostly healthy snacks but also occasional treats. I also liked the online platform for sharing updates to know what the children have been up to each week. It has been a pleasure to see my daughter grow in confidence in their care. Thank you to the manager and the team for giving her such a positive start to her school life.

Amazing nursery with the best teachers. They care for my daughter like she is their own, it's a joy to send her here. Every day the teachers welcome us with a smile. We get daily/weekly updates of what our child is doing at nursery as well as what she will be doing for the term. My daughter has a lot of energy and I found this nursery was perfect for giving her some structure but still having loads of fun! I can't recommend this nursery enough!

I honestly can’t praise or recommend this nursery highly enough.

The absolute best nursery I’ve ever seen. The staff go above and beyond for the kids there. My son learned so much and it was a positive caring nursery environment. I don’t know one parent that wasn’t impressed and happy with King's House Nursery. I can’t recommend them enough.

My girl has been in the nursery for 2 terms (both caterpillar and butterfly class), starting from speaking no English, too shy to speak to people after a long covid stay at home period. To my surprise, she settled in straight away, running into nursery without looking back every morning, even asked me to cancel the summer holiday because she wanted to stay in nursery! The nursery staff are so supportive, they are really taking care of and monitoring my girl’s development, giving honest and useful suggestions about how to bring the best out of her, never rush, very gentle, I can tell they have a step by step plan of getting her language out. We can’t believe after just two terms, she’s now a chatterbox, and even received a 4+ assessment offer! Most importantly, thanks to King’s House Nursery, my girl has developed a very positive attitude in going to school, which I think will benefit her in the long run.

The nursery staff are really gentle and understanding for my daughter and for us as parents. They are really lovely and they always encourage us to settle at the nursery.

From the teacher's genuine smiles that greet you at the start of the day to the beaming smile from my daughter upon pick up every single day, I am delighted to have found what I believe is the best nursery in Richmond. Underpinning it all is a very clear outline for gentle yet structured learning objectives and a team that is wholly on board to provide your child with the best possible care and attention for those few hours they are away from you.

King's House Nursery is such a lovely nursery where children are nurtured, supported and encouraged and the communication with parents is excellent. The staff is warm, welcoming and very engaged with the children and their families. Both our sons attended and received an excellent preparation for school. The teachers put a lot of thought every day on the activities they prepare for the children which are fun but also help them develop all the skills they need. I would highly recommend it.

Amazing staff that truly care about my daughter’s wellbeing and development. I love that my daughter runs to the front door every morning itching to get to nursery. She loves her teachers and enjoys taking part in daily activities like planting sunflowers and dancing and singing to nursery rhymes. King's House is a happy nursery that nurtures their pupils. We definitely made the right choice in deciding to send our little one here.

Kings House nursery is a wonderful environment for children to learn and be nurtured. One of the things I most value is the fact the majority of staff have been there a long time.
